HBCU College & Career Fair

Pre Registration Opens in July | College & Career Fair - 9 - 12pm
Chicago Football Classic Scholarship Fund, Inc. in partnership with City Colleges of Chicago and Chicago Public Schools will co-sponsor a college fair featuring recruiters from over 25 HBCU's and local colleges and universities. Come prepared to speak with representatives about admissions, financial aid (including the City Colleges of Chicago Star Scholarship), testing, majors, and more! This is a great opportunity to start your college search!
Be sure to bring your transcripts as some schools will be offering on-site admissions.

BMO Harris Bank and the Chicago Football Classic are pleased to present the 2023 H.B.C.U. College Fair and Empowerment Summit.
Students and parents will experience a college expo featuring a financial planning seminar provided by BMO Harris Bank.
It’s never too early or too late to invest in one of life’s most important decisions – college. That’s why saving for college tuition and preparing for student life expenses are critical steps in reaching and achieving educational goals. Financial experts and college advisors will guide you through the basics of saving for college and explore options to help you choose the right plan for you and your family.
The Chicago Football Classic Empowerment Summit is open to students attending Chicago-area schools.

College Fair Attendant Checklist
How to Prepare for the College Fair:

Register for the college fair above

Obtain and make 25 copies of your current High School or College transcripts

Update and make 25 copies of your current resume

Review the list of participating colleges and determined your top 10 schools you want to speak with
What to do the day of the Fair

Locate the schools you want to interview.

Spend time meeting with the college recruiters you have not considered. Do not rule out any colleges!

Bring resumes and portfolios to submit to college recruiters. You want to stand out!

Show recruiters that you are a prepared college-bound student: bring printouts of labels made with your contact information (i.e. name, address, email, and phone number).
