The official opening ceremony for fans, enthusiasts, and schools is celebrated with a rousing pep rally in downtown, Chicago at Daley Plaza. The spirit of competition is ignited as  drum lines, cheerleaders, and dance teams represent their colors, pride, and talents.  Emceed by local radio personalities, over 4000 people pack the plaza  as schools tease the audience for their upcoming performance game day.   Televised on the NBC 5 jumbotron, it further strengthens and exposes our outreach and event awareness to the community.
